What a surprise, married for 40 plus years to the same faithful very attractive women. She has made a point through our entire marriage of emphasizing how faithful she is and has always been. The last person I or any of our long term friends would ever think about having an affair. Over the past few years due to some health issues, nothing critically serious, but issues that do not allow her to exercise as she used to have caused Jo to gain some weight. She is now a bit more self conscious of her appearance. I am stating this as perhaps some rationale of her recent actions. Perhaps needing to prove she is still attractive to the opposite sex.
In the past year , have noticed her sexual needs seem to have changed a bit. Wanting to be satisfied more during our lovemaking. Also, noticed that when with certain friends of ours, Jo would pay more attention to the husband. Making sure she was able to talk with him alone at times, giving a more than gracious hug and kisses when we would meet or depart at the end of the evening. I went as far as making accusations about her behavior. Pointing out that even our friends wife would role her eyes a few times. Jo insisted that I was totally over reacting, that she had absolutely no feelings for our friend. She would even make a point after we would get together of being critical of him. Calling him a bit of a baby, not aging well etc. Not convinced, after forty years of marriage you do gain intuition about your partner. Now the interesting part.
I decided to set a test, or a trap however one might look at it. First important to know my wife Jo had not been unfaithful with our friend up to this point. She really just would not initiate that activity. But what if our friend initiated it, without even knowing he did? An email account was set up as if it was our friends. My wife received an email from this account, thinking it was from our friend. The message was that he was very attracted to her, had the vibe that she was also attracted to him. Wanted to get together sometime to see if the attraction was real. The first surprise. She responded back favorably to the fake email account. Obviously I was the only one to read it. I was absolutely taken back. My wife of 40 years actually did want to take the next step with another man. My feelings also surprised me. I was hurt and stimulated at the same time. Very eerie, but had to attempt to play it out. Through the email account she invited him over for an afternoon that I was scheduled to be gone to a sporting event with some guys. A couple of days prior to the date Jo had given him I contacted our friend and asked if he would come over to our house that afternoon to check our ceiling fan that he had previously offered to check out for us. Told him I would be gone. Well Surprise number 2 . They did indeed hit it off. Obviously I was not at sporting event, but had circled back attempting to get a glimpse of what was happening. I was not able to see much but heard moans that I certainly had never heard before when we were having sex.
I decided I did not want Jo to know that I knew, wanted to see how she played it out. First, she was obviously physically sore, she would not let me even get close to her for days. Walked a bit gingerly, said she had pulled something. I am of the small to medium size in the penile department . Our friend who is about 6'4", must have been twice my size. And Jo must love it, she now sneaks away whenever she can. Not wanting to expose it to me, but also to our friends wife who Jo is best friends. Not being able to see our friend often enough.
